That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...Psalm 26:7 Vol.5, No.2 February 1996 Dear Family of God: (Psm. 124:7 KJV) "Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped." There is truly nothing to compare to the freedom of the Lord. You can only be pressed down so long, but then when the freedom comes, it is marvelous. Last night, our church service brought just this kind of freedom. We know the Lord is bringing forth great change and character building in all who truly submit this day. Then He brings a period of rest and refreshing. The breaking of many hearts and their yielding to the move of God in a new and bright awareness of His Majesty always brings us into freedom. The enemy had a tight grip over our lives to try and hinder the changes, but determination for the Lord will always bring relief and a heightening of our spiritual senses. There are many snares laid by the enemy, and we will often be entangled; but thanks be to God for all His plans set us free through TRUTH. But it is not just truth, it is adherence to the truth, personally in our lives. It is a battle that the Lord fights for us. But we must stand with Him through the fight. We must not take over His position in the battle or we will get knocked down, knocked back, and knocked out. Many were stopped by the Blizzard of '96. Spiritually, many are stopped by the storms of life. But we must determine to keep going no matter how severe, because the Lord is on our side and with us through it all. Praise the Lord!
