That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...Psalm 26:7 Vol.5, No.6 June 1996
Dear Family of God: I keep hearing in my spirit, (Psa 118:24 KJV) "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." That tells me that no matter what, I must rejoice in the Lord and accept what is happening. (Mal 3:1 KJV) "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." It is happening. I am convinced this is not a game. People want support, not salvation. They want help rather than holiness. But we cannot dictate the terms of salvation. Jesus starts freeing us from the inside out. But people want to be freed from the outside in. What we have been going through is causing an internal change that looks bad outwardly. TRUE REPENTANCE BRINGS CHANGE! We all need forgiveness. When you are forgiven, you are freed from guilt and condemnation. Jesus must continue to increase and I must continue to decrease. If we don't decrease now, when the "greater works" flow, we will say, "Look at us." Recently, rumors became a roar because of so many issues surfacing. Remember, when that happens, you can hardly hear God. But you mustn't give in to what people say or do. YOU ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR OWN WALK, NOT OTHERS' WALK. Keep that spirit of "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it!"
