“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...”Psalm 26:7

Vol.5, No.3 March 1996

Dear Family of God:

"There's no time like the present." I've heard that many times when something needs to get done. But where do we find the time to do it all? The Lord allows our lifestyles to get so full that we have to make the choice of what is eternally important vs. an immediate satisfaction to satisfy the flesh. Time is running out for this life: "Only what's done for Christ will last."

My heart is saddened when so many don't do anything eternal because they are so busy. One thing is very clear to me in this time we live in. God is giving us every opportunity to do His will before the cut-off date. We will have no excuses on that day in eternity because of His continued grace and mercy for today.

The tragedy of our building program seems to have past. We are now moving faster than I could have comprehended three months ago. The Lord is making up for the lost time we encountered.

How far we go is the question at hand. God has faithfully paid every bill on time. Yes, we are debt-free. We seem to have one last major obstacle to cross. $20,000 doesn't seem like much when most churches today are in the millions. But is that millions indebted to the banks? Our structure will be beautiful for the Worship of Almighty God and it will accommodate our needs. We have built nothing for ourselves, only the Lord. And I believe with all my heart that He is well-pleased. I have yet to find a group of people who have given so much and asked for so little.

The church at Living Word is blessed with revival and deliverance and now this edifice that will enable many others to be blessed. I fret over the finances only when I am fleshly. But when I am spiritual, God continues to encourage me until I know once again, IT WILL BE PAID FOR IN FULL. We have come so far and the many lessons have drawn us all closer to the Lord.

I know I have said it before but it bears repeating: (Prov 10:22 KJV) "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."

In Christ,

Pastor Steve
