PASTOR'S JOURNAL - 1995
APRIL 6: The Lord is going to pour over with great overwhelming glory and power. All shall be satisfied to those who have vowed. His righteousness shall be our reward. All has been established and it will produce great joy and singing. (Psalm 65) APRIL 13: You will be able to punish all disobedience and insubordination of others when your own obedience and submission to the church are fulfilled. (II Cor. 10:6) APRIL 15: In Christ Jesus, we have the understanding of the Old Testament writings that make them valid to understand how to live today through Christ. That is our liberty and that is what brings the change into His glory by His spirit of understanding. It is our ministry so that we do not abuse God's Word for own personal benefit but for the salvation of all. (II Cor. 3:13-4:2) APRIL 18: A man makes plans but the Lord directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9) APRIL 20: This is the hour of "willingness" by My people. Whatever they are willing to do according to My spirit, they will be strengthened to overcome in the days ahead. It will take this willingness to teach them how to stay spiritual instead of retreating to the flesh. (Philippians 3) APRIL 22: Come let us reason together, saith the Lord. Take My yoke upon you, rest in Me. I am your provision and your life. Your struggles are not with flesh and blood, but with powers of confusion to stop you from operating in the liberty of my spirit. I am more than able to give you the desires of your heart. It is not selfish, but in giving you understanding it is given by Me. You are not your own but have been bought with a price. The Word of God is going forth in power and demonstration that will bring more of My glorious working to your life. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for." (Hebrews 11:1) "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13) APRIL 24: Time is not the issue in the hour, but trust is. APRIL 25: You will begin to be entrenched in understanding. It will come from Me and will reveal the supernatural - that which is operating beyond the natural. Therefore the understanding will be different from the past. This understanding will come by the gentle wooing of the Holy Spirit, while the other kind of understanding will come with fervency and frills. You must reject that and come to the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit in you. "Blessed shall you be in your going and coming and in all that you do. Your enemy will flee from you and the Lord will command the blessing on you. You will be established if you keep His commands and walk in His ways and others will be afraid of you" (Deut.28:3-10) APRIL 27: There are many who have not bowed their knee to the god of this world, who put Me first and worship Me in spirit and in truth. The first time My Spirit fell, they were in one accord in one place. This time when My spirit springs forth, My people will be in one accord all over many places.
