. . . My calling as a pastor
PASTOR'S JOURNAL (1995) JUNE 3: True discernment is a willingness to obey the first time and then doing it. To hear the Spirit clearly will result in our doing without misunderstanding what He says when He says it. JUNE 6: Revival is not enough; it must be fullness. "In your presence is fullness of joy" I am the one stirring up My people now. I am doing this so they can see all that is yet within them. Then they can choose - will they allow it to be exposed to My light no matter what it costs them, or will they keep it in the dark and remain unsettled, fearful and ashamed? In all I have done, it comes to the place each must choose. If their choice is My choice, then the fullness will be theirs. If the choice is theirs, then the mixture will remain and they will not experience the fullness of My Spirit, My power or the cross. Attributes of the flesh are legalism, bad disposition, self-centeredness, lack of discipline and pride. You can't mix flesh and spirit; the flesh must be dealt with. JUNE 8: Faith is the assurance or insurance for things hoped for. JUNE 9: How do we know God is pleased with us? The enemy does not triumph over us! (Psm. 41:11) JUNE 12: Love others into health. Love others into wholeness. Love unconditionally and you will love with agape. JUNE 13: We are emotionally plundered. We are perplexed to say the least. We don't understand. All we know is that we fall short of the Glory of God often. We are pressed in from all sides, easily shaken; and we don't know what the fallout may be. We can only say, "I will trust in Him and not turn aside." He is my strength. He will lift me up in due time and revive me to accomplish His purpose. JUNE 26: I am the way, the truth and the life. I have shown you the way, I have been the truth to you. Now I am offering the life. This revival will life My people and all that enter in will be My life on the earth. JUNE 27: I will show Myself strong on behalf of those who love Me. That love will reflect My character and My image. Contrition yet boldness will characterize their steps. JUNE 30: As you have dealt with attitudes with disciplined responses, now it is time to turn those attitudes and responses to Me. If I am the focus of your life, that focus will be your attitude. That focus will be your response. In every situation, I will be your response; and your attitude will reflect Me.
