. . . My calling as a pastor
PASTOR'S JOURNAL - 1995 JULY 4: "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance" (Prov. 15:13) Lord, fill our hearts to overflowing so your people will have a cheerful countenance. Then will we know the joy of the Lord is our strength. "Pray for the children to be revived. Again I say pray for the children." JULY 5: "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day, nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at they right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most high, thy habitation." (Ps. 91:5-9) JULY 6: You shall now manifest the peaceable fruit of righteousness in the hearts of My people. No chastening is pleasant, but you endured and now are being changed and the fruit will remain. (Heb.12:11) Holiness will pursue My people. JULY 14: All provision has been made for you. It comes from My hand reserved for you. Only you can lose it, abuse it, or misuse it. Remember, it comes from Me alone. JULY 15: I am with you on the mountain. That which will come forth will be water-oil-wine. You do not recognize anything on the mountain because I am taking away all that is familiar to you. As you are cleansed by the water (washing of the Word) the oil begins to flow until it is a gusher - JOY! Since I am with you on this mountain of transfiguration, you will recognize Me more and more until the new wine fills you and the transfiguration is made ready for you to descend in power and authority. The key is to wait-wait-wait, for much will be done on the mountain. JULY 20: There have been Moseses in the bulrushes, they have grown up under the tutorship of the world, but I am getting ready to call them in for My great deliverance. It will be a marvelous display of My hand of power. With great power and might shall many come forth and be born into the kingdom. All that I have spoken shall be accomplished. Not one word shall fail. The progression of the Word stands until all is fulfilled. JULY 22: "O Lord, Our Lord how excellent is thy name in all the earth." We are your people, the sheep of your pasture. We follow close to thee. You are in us and we are of you. You are everything and more than we recognize. But the day is getting brighter and brighter until the fullness thereof. "O Lord, Our Lord how excellent is thy name in all the earth." JULY 25: This is My work. All that is taking place is Mine. I am reviving the people. I am building up and have caused to go forth the natural elements to increase My work. JULY 26: I have called you to do many things. It is time to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. It will seem too much, too many directions, but I am in it. I did not call you to confusion or to exhaustion. I called you to obedience and the JOY that comes with it. Do not be afraid and do not reason and do not say "It is too much to sort through." I am speaking clearly and will continue to do so. You will not lose any of Me, even in all you must do. Rejoice! The time of fulfillment is come. I am taking off the blinders from My people. JULY 31: "Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them." (Ps. 119:165)
