. . . My calling as a pastor
PASTOR'S JOURNAL - 1996 SEPT. 3: "You shall drink from the brook by the way and therefore will lift up your head" (Psm. 110:7) SEPT. 4: This is a time to fight, take back what the enemy has stolen. This is not a time to give in or up. Find your rest in the land and fight the good fight of faith. SEPT. 6: "Unto you who fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings and you shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall." (Malachi 4:2) SEPT. 7: "According to deeds he will repay wrath to his adversaries, due recompense to his enemies. They will see Yahweh in the west and in the east his glory. For he will come like a rushing river which the wind of Yahweh drives." (Isa 59:18-19 Anchor Bible) The Lord has given each of us a position in the church. When we stand in our position individually and jointly the enemy cannot get through. But if we leave our position for any reason then the opening is made available for the enemy to attack. SEPT. 10: Move into the dynamic! Though He slay me yet will I trust Him. It is not I that live but Christ within me. SEPT. 17: I saw the Lord close a big gate. I was inside. He said, "No more going back. Only upward and onward. You are secured in Me. This is the liberty I have set you in. You are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." (Gal 4:31-5:1) SEPT. 20: My glory is over you. My protection (hedge) is all around you. And Satan is under your feet. You will experience a greater freedom than ever before in Me.
