I am going to be sharing with you thoughts from my journal over the past few years. This is to show you how the Lord has brought about His Word in my life to minister to you and to show you how real this walk can be. Please read and understand by the Spirit about ...

. . . My calling as a pastor

PASTORS JOURNAL 1997:

Nov. 3: My kingdom is progression. You must progress or you will quit. You must be stretched or you will not have the capacity to receive. You must go forward or you will go back. My people must give or it will be taken from them. Who is your faith in? I will not disappoint. "Casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. Humbling yourself under the mighty hand of God that He might exalt you in due time."

Nov. 7: For the Lord your God is with you!

Nov. 8: Dear Lord, I will protect this temple for it is holy. I will guard my heart, the intent thereof. I will keep my mind on you. I will set a lock on my lips so only to speak that which edifies and encourages. Holy Spirit, You are precious to me. May I not grieve You ever, but be continually conscious of Your mighty working in and through me - that God may receive the glory for great things He will continue to do.

Nov. 13: My mind is stayed on thee because I trust in thee!

Nov. 14: "He who runs ahead of God not doing the teachings of Christ, not being content with what is taught does not have God. But if he continues to live in the teachings of Christ hath both the Father and the Son." (II John 1:9)

Dear Lord, there are many who are running ahead of You wanting their own ministry, yet they are not continuing in the testing by Your Spirit that guides them into all truth. Please keep us secure in only You and forgive us for itchy ears instead of circumcised ears. Show us how perfect love casts out fears. If we fear the future or the unknown, we are not yet mature, nor do we understand Your love. We don’t know love until we become fearless.

Nov. 17: Lord, You are my doctor, my lawyer, my counselor, my pastor, my friend, my husband, my confidant, my beloved forever and ever. I will triumph in the Lord, I will triumph like never before, for greater is He who makes me overcome!

Nov. 18: Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name. "Sow to yourselves in righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, till He come and rain righteousness upon you." (Hosea 10:12)

Nov. 19: Be bold and be courageous.

Nov.21: Exhort, edify, encourage the people. For I am a food giving God. Preach to strengthen and console, that they might have hope.

Nov. 22: God is not moved when we don’t love Him, but love on the Lord and watch God move!

Nov. 24: Fullness means "controlled:" To be controlled by the Holy Ghost. To be controlled by the cross. To be controlled by the power of Christ.
