That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 7, No. 9 September 1998 Dear Family of God: The preaching and teaching of Gods Word is more intense than ever before. The work of the Holy Spirit is very evident as we see the church developing. It must be tremendously exciting for the most senior generation to see this work coming forth. Although I am not that senior, I have seen so much. I do recognize the fullness of the Spirit of God on the earth, mainly because I am a part of it. Those who are not a part of it will not see it for awhile. But look out. Everyone will be affected sooner than we think. There is no excuse any longer for those who claim to be a part of the Church. We are forced to make a move or get run over. I choose the former. But it is like coming against a great wind that wont let us go too far too fast. It must be God! He will bring us into His perfect likeness: (Luke 6:40 KJV) "The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master." What a great change that seems almost impossible nevertheless it will come to pass. We must be in continual prayer for one another while we endeavor to keep going with this mighty change that is taking place within us. Remember, there IS A TIME when this will end: (1 Cor 13:10 KJV) "But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." Do you see? You feel fragmented right now. Get rid of the mixture and you wont feel that way any longer. (2 Tim 3:17 KJV) "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." This is the goal: To be able to do all things virtuously; Restoration of Godliness and honor and ability to rise above the pressures. (James 1:4 KJV) "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." Im tired. Really tired. I am tired of trying to get things done. I want to be perfected so I dont want anything except Christ flowing through me. Let us remember this: (2 Cor 13:11 KJV) "Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you." The presence of God is what we are waiting for: The manifest presence of the King of Glory. He will come. He will be revealed. God chooses. God says when we are ready. We just keep the process operating in our lives. In Christ,
Pr. Steve
