. . . My calling as a pastor Pastor’s Journal 2000 Jan. 1: Your thoughts toward me are endless. You fill my very being with life and hope. Nothing escapes the wondrous plans you have for me, O Lord. Jan. 2: (Dream) The city is in darkness. I am driving, so I turn out of the darkness onto a side street. Directly in front of me is a fog of utter darkness. The car stalls. The Lord says, “Take absolutely no steps without My direction.” Jan. 4: “I have heard your cry for others of like precious faith. This year you shall see the fulfillment of that cry. This is the year of fruitfulness!” Jan. 6: “All of this and more that you ask for will take place. Fulfillment, fullness and faithfulness.” Jan. 11: “Knowing truth can only come when you don’t speculate with My written word. You have learned to take My word and expound, not the word of man, not what man speculates. The depth of knowing Me and becoming fruitful is available to all that would abide in Me and My words. The fruit of the spirit produces a godly character that isn’t mixed with the unfruitful works of darkness. Purity is holiness. I don’t like mixture. I want a pure and holy people who know truth and walk and adhere to that truth.” Jan. 13: “You seek after Me and you shall have the hidden treasures of life.” Jan. 14: “It is Christ alone that saves and sanctifies. He sent His Holy Spirit to direct you to Me, Messiah and Savior. Look not to any other, keep trusting in nothing else. All that comes to pass in your life will be of Me. For I am your life. And all things are made complete by Me. The resurrection power is in Me and I am in you and nothing shall be impossible that is needed.” Jan. 17: Thank you, O Lord, for taking dismal thoughts and turning them into victorious blessings. Thank you for taking despair and giving hope. Thank you for rising within me and releasing more faith to stand. What more could anyone want today in this darkness? Just to know you are here is wonderful. To experience your presence is holiness to me. O how I love you, my Lord. Everything is all right in Christ. May your people, my brothers and sisters, experience such rest and refreshing. Glory! Jan. 20: “Keep yourself in Me at all times. I will come and meet with you. Be prepared when you least expect it. I will show up. You shall be filled with all the fullness of My glory.” Jan. 22: “I will part the waters for you. You will cross over on dry land. You shall stand in front of the flood, but it shall not come near your dwelling. There are many waters flowing today, some into life and some unto death. You do not have to fear any, for that which is of Me will produce life for these who are in Me; those who are secure with Me, bound to Me, are safe from destruction. There will be many swept away by the floods of destruction from the enemy, because they hold to this tradition of men and not the truth of My word. Those who will know My ways shall be saved. The wells of the spirit are about to overflow. Salvation shall come.” Jan. 24: I will be what you need me to be. Jan. 25: “I have come and I have chosen you to stand with Me. I am going forth even now and choosing My elect. Nothing is in vain. Your trust and confidence in Me is what draws us together. Many will see and know Me because of those who put their trust in Me. There is a presence around and within you, My presence to protect and not harm will befall those who follow on to know Me in this time. Now is that time. Nothing is in vain. You are being taught the depths of My truths, and the truth shall flow freely once again for all to receive.” Jan. 27: Then shall I truly know the fullness, even as I have been known by God. The more glory that comes, the more understanding of knowing Him is revealed. Jan. 29: “The foundation has been reinforced. It can withstand much more. The structure has been established in truth. This time I will breathe upon this work and life will come again. It shall be filled with My presence and My power.
