That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 11, No. 2 February 2002 Dear Family of God: The intensity of activity in the Spirit realm is growing day by day. God is truly making us ready for a special time of His glory and grace. Why grace? Because when God moves in unprecedented manners, it is not to excite us but to change us to a deeper revelation of who God is and what He is looking for. Our church experienced a tremendous time of death and dying in the year 2001. Dying to our carnal natures and selfish tendencies. However, dying is daily. We die so He can live. We die so His will can be accomplished through us, His church. We die so others may live. Isn’t that what war is all about? Others willing to give up their lives so that we might have freedom to live. We are very glad the armed forces of the U.S. and around the world are fighting terrorism. Each of those men and women know they must be willing to give up their lives in order for others to have life and liberty. The church must be greater than the armed forces. This we did in the past year. Now we know what it is like and are willing to continue to give our lives for the furtherance of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Now that we have been found faithful with what God has asked, He is coming with great glory to bless and fill us with a fresh wave of His presence and life. This is what is now happening at Living Word. We realize we can’t work it up or make it happen. We become content with what we have and let God do the rest. Throughout the week we are living epistles of the Word of Truth being read by the world. The anointing is truly being poured out on the people of God in a new and wonderful way. It is great to be a part of it and to have the Master of our souls leading us and revealing Himself in a fresh way. But let us remember, the enemy is still on the prowl, roaring fiercely, causing many to fear and be afraid to move out. This is why the church is so important. Without it we become paralyzed, alone, forsaken and overtaken. But with the church there is safety and protection and healing and deliverance. Through all that has happened the church is becoming a force that will have to be reckoned with. It doesn’t seem like it now, but wait. The King of Glory is coming in! In Christ,
