That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 11, No. 6 June 2002 Dear Family of God: Thank the Lord for the seasons of life. We daily see things change outwardly. I hope we can also see things change inwardly. If we are living our lives as fitting unto the Lord, then we will recognize the internal changes as well as the external. One thing that has kept me strong in the faith is recalling the prophetic words over my life. Sometimes we need to reflect on what the Lord has spoken over us so as to see what has truly transpired. Scripture tells us: Matthew 10:41 (KJV) “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.” God’s words spoken over us are prophetic from righteous men and women. If we accept them, and embrace them, then we will receive the reward of the word that is spoken. Do not take lightly the Word of God, my children. It is the Word of God that produces faith in our hearts so that we may be changed. Do not ignore what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches today if you want to be saved in the end. We are not smart enough to make it today without guidance from the Spirit of Truth. So many take for granted the Word of Truth and therefore have little life or faith within. And that which they do have is being choked out by the cares of the world. I have just recently gone through a pressing time, during which I didn’t have much time to think and meditate. I hated it. I felt like I was running close to empty. You know that feeling you get when you are on the highway and your gas gage says “EMPTY”. It doesn’t feel good. And you become a little anxious. I knew I had to stop – gather my thoughts, take in the peace of God and reflect on the goodness of the Lord and His Word. This is our life, Church. This is our very breath. Don’t let life rob you of the pleasure of knowing your Lord and Savior. Business comes and business goes, but the Lord Jesus Christ is forever and eternally today! Today is our day of salvation. In Christ,
