“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...” Psalm 26:7 Vol. 11, No. 3 March 2002 Dear Family of God: God has been saying this is going to be a wonderful year of blessing and promise fulfilled. I believe that with all my heart. But I wonder if we truly yet understand when God speaks. I recently heard “Revival has taken place in America.” Well, Hallelujah! But since when do we have to announce it? People are so desperate for something to happen, I think we try to speak it into existence to see what will happen. At the same time I heard the above, I was studying John chapter 16. We often speak of the fulfillment of Joel chapter 2 and Acts chapter 2 that says, “And it shall come afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh…” Many wonder when this will be fulfilled? Well, let me tell you this much, God is moving in a mighty way with his church today. But when the outpouring of the Spirit on all flesh is fulfilled in the last days, it will come with three things that are absolute: He will convict of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:9-11). This is the mark of true revival. It won’t have to be announced. The Spirit will draw all men unto the Lord, if we are sincere. When Christ in us is manifested, something will happen. Right now the emphasis of the Spirit is the fullness of Christ to His Church. Yes we want a blessing from the Lord, but how much can God bless? WE NEED TO BE THE BLESSING TO THE WORLD. It is time we be the blessing instead of wanting the blessing. Revival is happening in us when we turn from wickedness and evil and KNOW Christ Jesus IN us. The travail of the Spirit is bringing forth the birth of Christ like nothing the world has ever known. If you want to call that REVIVAL, then OK. But just make sure it is accompanied with the proper signs and wonders. In Christ,
