“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...” Psalm 26:7 Vol. 11, No. 5 May 2002 Dear Family of God: America is in a crisis because we have not followed and obeyed the voice of the Lord Jesus our God. We have been lulled to sleep by Leviathan who has slowly choked away the life of the Spirit. We have listened to a watered down gospel that doesn’t produce life in the fullest by the Victory of the Cross and the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We have been so overtaken by our own inadequacies that we don’t know what to do spiritually speaking. Everyone has problems in life. But are we going to allow them to rule our lives? Get out of yourself. Issues happen in life, not to destroy us, but to wake us up to the kind of life we are living. Are we living for the Lord or for our own well-being so that everything looks good in my life. We must deal with our issues with other people quickly. If we keep holding on with anger, animosity, regrets or bitterness, we are moved into demonic attacks that won’t be overcome. Once you have done all you know to do – let go and let God do the rest. Trust and confidence that He will intervene is the greatest weapon of freedom and liberty one can find and establish in this life. The darkness is quickly snuffing out the fire in many believers because they won’t let go. Who’s truly in charge of your life? Is it God or self? Die to your own feelings of inferiority and stop trying to rule others by what you experience. The power of the gospel is just as real as it always has been. But we must embrace it. Don’t allow the psychology of humanism to rule your thinking. Let the Holy Spirit of God rule your thinking. “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7) I have the mind of Christ and that is by what I will be ruled! AMEN! In Christ,
