“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...” Psalm 26:7 Vol. 11, No. 11 November 2002 Dear Family of God: I am finding more and more the reality of the scriptures as I am relying on them each and every day. The one the Lord keeps reminding me of is, “Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and He shall direct your paths.” (Pro.3:6) As you do this you recognize all that He means and all that He is in every situation. People are stumbling too much right now. If we don’t learn to acknowledge Him in everything, we are going to find ourselves disgruntled and disoriented in finding our way. The path is straight and narrow and we must walk accordingly. It is no longer about what “I want” or what “I get to do,” but truly about our Lord and Savior. The blessings of the Lord are much more relevant as we acknowledge Him. There seems to be little relevance in most of what people are doing today, except at the leading of the Holy Spirit. People are so busy with their own agendas God isn’t even in the picture. And when it is all done then they thank God for all their accomplishments. That is not the time to begin to acknowledge God, especially if He had little to do with it! We really aren’t any different than the people of Jesus’ day. They were all so busy making plans and accomplishing their daily tasks that the Messiah came and left and life went on, except for a remnant who heard the Lord and followed Him. They turned the world upside down. And here we are again. It is time to turn the world upside down. It is time for the manifestation of God’s sons and daughters to show the glory and splendor of the one who died for us. And this, God our Father will do as we acknowledge the Lord in all our ways. These days will not disappoint those who have waited and worshipped their Savior. The glory of God is going to cover the earth and the people will know we have been with Jesus. In Christ,
