CrossI am going to be sharing with you thoughts from my journal over the past few years. This is to show you how the Lord has brought about His Word in my life to minister to you and to show you how real this walk can be. Please read and understand by the Spirit about ...

. . . My calling as a pastor

 Pastor’s Journal 2001

Jun. 2: Yesterday was a terrible day, unbelievable failure at every turn. I couldn’t shake it, but now, O Lord, I know it wasn’t failure at all.  You warned me about this day before, but I didn’t understand. Today, I understand. In ministry we are approved of you in much patience, afflictions, necessities, distresses, calamities, and longsuffering. By knowledge of the spiritual, in the Holy Spirit, by speaking truth, with weapons of righteousness to attack and to defend in the midst of honor and dishonor, defaming and evil or praise and a good report. We are branded as deceivers yet vindicated as truthful and honest. We are treated as unknown and ignored, yet we are recognized by you. There is always hope if it is found, and you never forsake us.

PM: Happy are those who endure. The patience of Job brought the compassion and tender mercy of the Lord. Be ye patient until you receive the early and latter rain. Ask the Lord for the rain!

Jun. 9: “You were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above not on things on the earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”

Jun. 11: “You have served Me in the inner court. My lamp has searched out your heart. You have fellowship with Me. You have offered sweet incense to My name. Now you will enter into My darkness and find quiet rest where mercy and grace will be your portion. I say, your flesh will be brought down to nothingness and by My spirit you shall rise in splendor and glory of knowing Me.”

Jun. 14: The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses my mind and conscience from dead works so I can serve Christ.

Jun. 24: “So Mordecai went out from the presence of the King in royal apparel of blue and white with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple.” (Est. 8:15) And there was gladness, joy and honor.

July 26: “The blessings will far outweigh the price being paid – the sorrow only lasts for a moment, but My reward is with Me. When I come to visit you I will restore blessing upon blessing, ministry upon ministry, and anointing upon anointing. Nothing is being wasted as I bring forth the changes in My church.”

Jun. 28: “Listen for the sound. This is why I have fine-tuned your ears. I am noisy at My coming. Listen for the sound.”
