Are You Ready To Ride? Isa 9:6-7 (KJV) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Most of the time we think of Christmas when we read those passages of scripture, but we should consider the validity of their application to any situation that the governing power of Jesus Christ is brought into. From the moment a person is born again, the kingdom of God starts increasing in the life of that individual. The changes that come show an establishment of a new government that is clear for all to see. That government is the rule and reign of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit within the person. He delivers the believer from his ways and brings him into “His ways,” line upon line, precept upon precept, from glory to glory. The establishment of His judgments does that, and all of His judgments are just. Rev. 19:11 (KJV) “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” The Lord has always used righteous judgment; and is currently using righteous judgment, and He will use righteous judgment as the means to establish His kingdom and its government. In these end times He is establishing order in the body of Christ to make way for that to happen. The scripture says that we are no longer civilians, because now we are soldiers. Good soldiers are well equipped and ready to follow, as the directions are given. 2 Tim. 2:4 (KJV) “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” The Lord has effected, and is effecting, drastic changes in the structure of the modern day church, all to bring the fullness of His Spirit into action for the preparation of the army of His saints. In the past, many Christians have hoarded the blessings of God, and misused the giftings for the furtherance of their own kingdoms. But God is a God of order, and He is establishing His will in righteousness, making it plainly known. Good order is the foundation of all good things (Noah Webster). According to the Webster’s Dictionary, “order”, is the established mode of proceeding. God is establishing proper order back into His church for the sake of the bride of Christ, and for the sake of the great harvest. Every saint of God is called to go forth with the King of Kings. That entails leaving all preconceived plans of any kingdom man is trying to forge in the earth, and getting into proper relationship with the King and those He sets in the ranks. The question for this hour is: Are you ready to ride? Rev. 19:12-14 (KJV) “His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
