That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 12, No. 3 March 2003 Dear Family of God: Pastor Steve is still recovering. After losing his ability in his dominate hand, we have all pitched in to keep the church moving full speed. We are so thankful to have Rev. John Frost and Pastor Kurt Thurston with us. They have helped to keep sermons at the pulpit and business flowing as usual. Pastor is now joining us a couple times each week back in the office. He is also preaching again each week. His therapy, of course, has increased. There is still much pain, but also progress. We are still praying that full range of motion will be restored. Psa. 37:23-24 (KJV) says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” We have never doubted that Pastor’s steps are ordered of the Lord. We know that the Lord’s will and way is being delighted in Pastor’s life. Pastor has not been cast down, because the Lord is holding him up with His hand. Pastor extends his thanks to all for the cards, gifts and words of encouragement. They have all meant so much to him. Your love given has strengthened him beyond what you may know. The Lord truly is working in the lives of His people. Although situation or circumstance may come our way, we will not be defeated or destroyed. God is doing an inner work. He may not change our situation or circumstance right now, but we know that He is in control. He is teaching us patience, mercy, humility, peace, joy and kindness. Praise the Lord! Living Word is pressing on. We have not been held back. We have not been stopped. If anything, our faith has increased, our expectation is greater, and the presence of the Lord is still as rich as ever. In His Love,
Pastor Chad I want to say how much love has continued to pour in over the past few weeks from all over the country and around the world. It is truly a blessing to be a part of the most awesome family of God. The very first thing the Lord spoke to me after the accident has kept me: "The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me." (Psm.138:8) I will recover. - Pr. Steve March Newsletter 2003 | Faith to the Finish | Are You Ready to Ride? Pastor's Journal March 2003 | Destiny in Flames | Precious Seed - part 3 of 3 |
