“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...” Psalm 26:7 Vol. 12, No. 11 November 2003 Dear Family of God: 2 Sam 5:24-25 “And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.” We have been crying out to the Lord for deliverance and healing and miracles. Well, it is time to tune our ears to the voice of the Lord. He is going to rustle the trees (us). He is ready to sound the trumpets of victory. This has been a year of quietness with the Lord. But He will not remain silent forever. He is going to answer faithfulness that has called. He is going to respond to those refined in the fires. He is going to strengthen our weakened hands and trembling knees. He is going to put our enemies to flight. Because we do not know how the Lord will do this we must be secure in His Word and promises. The enemies may become disheveled and we must not be moved by what happens. Now that we have experienced this new day we are beginning to see and understand how much God is truly for us and bringing us into His glorious image. IT DOES BECOME MORE ENJOYABLE AFTER THE TRIALS AND TESTINGS. This is what I see coming in this new year. Since we have been forerunners in this new thing of God we will now see others experience what we have gone through. Be sure you are willing to help and offer a hand of hope because people still will want to quit and not come through. But I have seen and continue to see the grace of God allowing circumstances of people to bring them to a place of desperation so they will not give up. That is good because God is in control of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for their lives. Just remember, it is extremely important to keep your ears tuned to the rustle of the trees. IT IS GOD GETTING READY TO PERFORM A MIRACLE FOR YOU. Then you MUST obey whatever the Lord says for you to do!! In Christ,
