. . . My calling as a pastor Pastor’s Journal 2002 Aug. 5: “You are being conformed to My image. I am leading you. You are hearing My voice. Do not adhere to other voices that are destructive to the Spirit. Accusations from the enemy are all around but you know My voice and My direction. Follow Me closely. There is tribulation all around, but you will come through in victory.” Aug. 6: “Those who hope in Me will not be disappointed. Peace like a river flows righteousness like the waves of the sea are for those who obey the commands of the Lord.” Today you are my answer! Aug. 8: “I am making peace your governor, in rest shall you come. I am making righteousness your ruler, in My image you will be.” Aug. 12: “Say unto the mountain, ‘Be moved and cast into the sea.’” Aug. 13: “Now that faith has come you are no longer under the law. My word is truth and it will not falter or delay but come to pass.” Aug. 15: The essence of God is Christ Jesus, the indisputable, pure unchanging fragrance of God. Aug. 17: “I want to pour out spiritual blessings so great you have yet to experience them. I want to pour out My gifts upon My people beyond what has ever been experienced. You are dry, you are thirsty, but I will satisfy. You will have more than you ever had before. My heart is in the fellowship and My love will be expressed.” Aug. 24: Three trees died in our yard this year. They had all been there since we moved here 17 years ago. The Lord says they are symbolic of three spiritual deaths of man, death to the world, to lust and to self. First come the natural and then the spiritual. This is the season where God will finish the work He began in us. Aug. 26: “Rejoice and be glad. This is your time of great peace. Rest is in you, rejoicing is in you, renewal is in you, refreshing is in you. As we walk together hand in hand you will experience the great blessing and not be moved by the outward.” Aug. 30: The Lord came to me during the night as the Tree of Life. It brought comfort and peace to my soul. But I don’t yet fully know what He is saying. I just want to feed off this tree. Aug. 31: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes it is a tree of life. The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life. The tree of life is for this healing to the nations.
