. . . My calling as a pastor Pastor’s Journal 2002 Dec. 7: “Baptism of Fire is now here. The church does not understand it. But the refining and purifying fires are cleansing and purging My people of dross and sin. Stay in the fire, don’t escape what I have ordained. For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Dec. 14: “In this coming year you will be stronger than you have ever been in your soul and in the spirit. You will withstand more and more and not be moved, gaining more and more understanding, being able to keep going while others falter. But I will give you a peace and comfort like you have sought for so that others will be encouraged and enabled by My spirit. My will is being accomplished in you.” Dec. 15: The joy of loving. Dec. 16: Living Joy. Dec. 20: “Your waiting is a period of healing and strengthening. It will result in exceeding joy. Your tribulation will produce stamina and a character that will be lasting. You know Me and My ways. You have learned of Me. Now you can rest in Me, assured of your calling and election.” Dec. 21: “This is a new day of restoration for those who seek My face. All that you do is for My restoration. I am doing a new thing. You will see it and believe. You will know and understand. But for now you walk by faith and trust that I am a God who does what He says.” Dec. 26: And My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Each prayer is for today: Give us this day our daily bread. Live one day at a time. Leave the future to God and enjoy what He has given today. Dec. 31: “If you will hear and obey My voice, then shall you be given life and prosperity and blessing. For those who do not, it is death and destruction and curses.
