That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 13, No. 6 June 2004 Dear Family of God: There is a promise in the Word that we need to grab hold of: “Although I am in the midst of trouble, You oh Lord will revive me.” (Psm 138:7) Is there anyone in the middle of experiencing trouble? The word trouble is the Hebrew “tsarah (tsaw-raw')” means adversity, tribulation, anguish, distress, trouble. When we seem to be having trouble, trouble, trouble on all sides, this is the time to rise up and believe that a reviving is on the horizon. It is kind of like a “pick-me-up.” It is like a “perky” feeling that says, “Hey, I’m OK, I have a new release on life.” You see, the scripture goes on to say that the Lord is perfecting what concerns my life. He is extending mercy that will endure forever and He WILL NOT forsake what He has started (Psm 138:8). So hold on to your hat. The winds are blowing. There is a revival coming to the weary of heart and mind and soul. Keep praising and magnifying the Lord of Hosts. His Word will come to pass. He will strengthen us with boldness and power to overcome every obstacle and hindrance. Sometimes it is just good to get God’s perspective, especially when you are in the middle of trouble. In Christ,
Pr. Steve The Straight And Narrow A path, a sliver of a path That is all that’s before me. If I look to the right, thorns If I look to the left, thistles A sliver of a path, Shone upon by the most marvelous light The light seems to emanate from the path itself, As if to say, “This is the way, walk in it.” Narrow Path Thorns pull at my shirt from the left side, Thistles my pants from the right, But still my feet, they fall straight Straight, Straight to the Path Lord, let my feet find The Straight, My Path find The Narrow.
