That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7
Vol. 13, No. 3 March 2004
Dear Family of God:
(Act 16:26) “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.”
Do you know what it feels like when the bondage is broken and the prison doors fly open? Well, get ready if you don’t. Today the work of the Holy Spirit is setting Christian Saints free from all that hinders and holds them down. We are going to fly like the eagles. Why? Because we have been waiting on the Lord. We have been renewing our strength in the Spirit of God. Something is happening in the supernatural and the captives are being set free.
We are now experiencing on a small degree the beginning of this freedom. It has come with a tremendous price of repentance and humility at the mercy seat of God. There is an awareness of God’s presence that is growing stronger by the day. It is the manifested presence of God in the midst of heavy and dark trouble. We are learning how to lean on our beloved as we come from the wilderness.
The agony of bondage and dismay is one thing, but the splendor and glory of deliverance outweighs any of the pain. God shall complete what He is starting because He is a faithful and just God.
Every generation must experience the fresh taste of the Lord’s presence. And I for one am going to have it! I must! I can’t live without it. His presence is what we long for, His presence is what we are going to have. PTL.
