. . . My calling as a pastor Pastor’s Journal 2003June 5: God always begins from the inside out. He gives us His love by the Spirit to our spirit man, but we do not understand. He then teaches our soul about holiness and we struggle with our wills and desires wrestling about His will and desires to make us holy. The more we desire this holiness, the more He sends His fire to our lives from outward circumstances, fire that begins to burn from the outside in until His holiness is produced in our souls. Then we can begin to understand the true agape of God as our spirit man grows beyond any natural means and the love of God becomes a reality of understanding. Dear Lord, bring me to that place, I pray. Amen. Thank You, Lord for a prayer language that is spirit to spirit, love to love! June 16: A supernatural transference of peace, the peace that the Lord gives. To be led forth in peace. June 17: When Your presence comes forth there is an undeniable peace that lifts my heart and soul and is made one by the Spirit with You. May Your presence guide and keep me over and over throughout my entire life. June 22: Clarity of mind, clarity of speech that my words be understood and pursued. The Lord said, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and recover all.” June 28: Maturity will show feelings of concern to the other party without fear of retribution or rejection. If both parties are mature they will be able to work out differences and in love flow together in the Spirit of Christ. Both must maintain a heart attitude with repentance or nothing will be changed within their lives. Don’t be afraid to speak the truth in the love of God. This brings healing and restoration and shows true maturity. We must come to this place in order to get through difficult times. There is no true transformation until we have been tried and tested in these areas.
