. . . My calling as a pastor Pastor’s Journal 2004 Apr. 2: We are not called to be moral transformers. We must determine to know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Apr. 8: “Be ready.” Apr. 10: Allowing worldly practice to remain among the church will gain the respect of the world, but if repentance doesn’t come the Lord will respond, “I never knew you, depart from Me.” Apr. 15: “You have been striped of many areas of your life, depending on others instead of Me. I have given you others to help and encourage but not to replace Me. Now nothing stands between us. I can accomplish My plan with you and know that I will be the one you turn to without hesitation. Now your love for others can be pure. For My vision for you will surely come to pass.” Apr. 17: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not destroyed. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” (2 Cor. 4:8-10) “We have treasures in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us.” (2 Cor. 4:7) Apr. 19: “When you hear a sound of marching (going forth) in the tops of the mulberry trees (weeping) then sound the alert, the Lord is going before you to smite the enemy. When the weeping is strong enough in you then you will hear, “Deliverance is on the way.” Apr. 20: “Whoever humbles himself like a child is the greatest in the Kingdom of God.” (Matt. 18:4) Apr. 22: “For he is a faithful man and fears God more than many.” (Neh. 7:2) Apr. 23: Watch for the lies to discern deception. “The pride of heart has deceived you.” (Obed. 1:3) Apr. 25: “The impartation of water will begin to flow outward by My Spirit.” Apr. 29: Even my convictions I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. May my all in all be Christ over all.
