That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 15, No. 10 October 2006 We are in a time when communications are under great scrutiny. I first heard this early in the summer from the Lord. It seemed like everything that I said was misinterpreted or completely ignored. It was frustrating as is always the truth when you are wanting someone to hear you. But God kept telling me the body of Christ was going to experience this to a great degree because they won’t listen to Him. I believe the church can hear the Lord like never before. We have learned how to distinguish His voice from the others; but we don’t want to heed what He is saying, so our communications are becoming blocked. Our ears are being stopped up because what the Lord says to our hearts is being ignored. About 10 years ago we began to hear and understand about multi-tasking:i.e. doing more than one thing at a time. Well, I have been doing that for many years. I think it is one of the characteristics of leadership. When people began multitasking without proper knowledge of how to comprehend or gather information, confusion resulted. The errors and mistakes which followed continue to affect us all. Many are now on overload because of not being properly heard. The ensuing frustration has brought some to the point of shutdown or explosion. But God hears us and He wants to clarify and give us results. The key is to come back to the voice of God. Take the time to listen to Him even if it is too hard to hear through the confusion that comes from the mouth of people. Don’t allow the confusion to take you over because: 1Co 14:33 “For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” In Christ,
