That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving... Psalm 26:7 Vol. 15, No. 9 September 2006 Progress is supposed to be good; But, boy, is it painful to accomplish. I look back over other societies of history and wonder about all the progress that ultimately was lost when they fell into oblivion. As we have now finished the biggest project of Living Word’s history, I can look back and say it was well worth the struggle. I just get these thoughts that one day all that was built materially will be lost and forgotten. Even though we built this school for the Kingdom of God, it was really about people. People, not buildings are what count for eternity . The most difficult part of this project was the feeling of letting the members of the church down because I, along with the other staff, was too busy building . We had to save money and do the work ourselves or else it would not have happened. I do believe we were and are a true witness for the city. I do believe that many students will be eternally blessed because of all the sacrifice and hard labor. I want to personally say over and over we have the best congregation as ALL participated in some special way to make this happen. “May the blessings of the Lord be poured out upon the people for their faithful and courageous sacrifices.” It is truly a family of God. In Christ
