I am
going to be sharing with you thoughts from my journal over the past few years.
This is to show you how the Lord has brought about His Word in my life to
minister to you and to show you how real this walk can be. Please read and
understand by the Spirit about ...
. . . My calling as a pastor
Pastor’s Journal 2006
Dec. 1: I thank You for a peace that far exceeds what the world
offers. In the midst of sickness and pain You are the God of comfort and purity.
I live in it and I live by it. There is no other way. Glory is in Christ.
Victory is by following the way of the cross and finding my rest in You. I am
eternally blessed and I am receiving the goodness of the Lord.
Dec. 2: “With every setback it has pushed you closer to Me.
Nothing has been lost. My favor is upon you to bring about My will for Living
Word. Do not be weary, the victory and fulfillment will come.”
Dec. 4: “Do not allow feelings, thoughts or words to defeat you.
The battle is to monitor the victory. If you give in to the darkness, you will
experience defeat, but I say, ‘Victory is yours already.’”
Dec. 6: The steps of a righteous man are ordered by God.
Dec. 11: “Do not allow discouragement to lead you. Let hope lead.
Do not allow anger to lead you. Let love lead. Do not allow confusion to lead
you; let peace prevail. That is when you clearly know and understand Me and My
direction for your life.”
Dec. 18: “Walk in peace. Perfect peace have they whose mind is
stayed on the Lord. Don’t allow the thoughts to defeat you; but stay in My
perfect peace, knowing that I deliver those who seek My face.”
Dec. 19: “There is coming a move of My Spirit that will cost
everyone who is a part of it. Don’t be swayed by the counterfeit that will offer
you everything freely. My way is the way of suffering.”
Dec. 25: “Do not be shaken or troubled in your mind that the day
of the Lord is at hand until there be a great falling away. You are following My
direction. Remember, you are in warfare. Whether you fight or not, the battle
still goes on; but if you fight, there you will experience victory and blessing
because My hand is directing you.”
Dec. 26: Life is fragile, love is strong.
Dec. 28: “For you never to stumble or fall, you must continually
be adding and increasing in faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance,
godliness, brotherly affection and love. Do not allow anything to distract you
from pressing into those things so that the pressures of the world will not over
take you.”
Dec. 29: “Come let us reason together, saith the Lord. Let us
settle once and for all the matters that hinder your progress so you can move
forward!”
Dec. 30: Remember – Courage – Courage- Courage. It will bring you
through every situation!
