“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving...” Psalm 26:7

Vol. 18, No. 4  April 2009

“Make it stop, make it stop.” I just keep going around and around. There is too much to contend with. When will it ever stop? While God is waiting for us to come into the image of Christ, the enemy is trying to bring about too many changes that are destructive. We have to know this battle is between good and evil. The good in us through Christ is what must lead us. Anything else will only hinder and even hurt the process.

So stop and think about all the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Don’t take on more than you can handle. The Lord does not hurry us through this change. Our frail bodies can’t handle that much. And whatever you do, don’t allow the world to control your change or you will just go nuts.

Php 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.”

Yes, there are plenty of good reports. You may have to search for them or even get around someone who has a good report, but encouraging testimonies lighten the load and enables us to come through the change without harm.

Psa 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

In Christ,

Pr. Steve
