Violent attitudes and responses are beginning to increase nationwide. People are adamant about what is happening. We must be extremely careful how we react and what we say or do. We are the light of the world. We are not to join in demonstrations or battles of the flesh. God is not pleased. Our eyes need to be opened to see what is happening in the spirit realm. Our fight is not with flesh and blood. God is in control of our lives and will only allow what is necessary to draw us closer to God and more into the image of Christ Jesus. Persecutions are going to increase as has been prophesied. They come not because we oppose the ways of the world, but because we adhere to the obedience of Christ.
We are called to be peacemakers. The amplified says “the maintainers of peace.” For these are called the sons of God. We are in a time when all of creation is earnestly awaiting for the sons of God to come forth. I haven’t seen this come to pass yet, but I want it to. However, I won’t make it happen by my actions. It will happen by the actions of the Holy Spirit in us. People are not going to understand this and will oppose all of it when it begins.
So don’t involve yourself in
the carnal things. As you wait on the Lord and obey Him, you will find
yourself becoming a true peacemaker for the Lord.
