When
the teachers of Living Word were given the assignment of teaching spiritual
esteem, we nodded and smiled, and agreed, “Yes, this is needed in our
children.” I believe I speak for all of us when I say inside we were all
choking. We have no problem teaching on things we understand and walk in, such
as salvation, baptism, the armor of God, or the fruit of the Spirit. But how do
we as adults who have learned to prove our value by excelling and gaining the
approval of man, impart to the children that they are already valuable and
highly prized by God - not because of what they do,
but because of who He is?
How can we teach on the very thing we struggle with so deeply every day of our
lives? We have sought the Lord, and cried out – “Father show us how, and teach us
as we seek to impart this truth into Your precious children.”
