VISION Fellowship

VISION is a ministry fellowship at LWCF. It is geared for Christian singles and young married couples. Proverbs 29:18 declares, "Where there is no vision his people perish…"

The purpose of this fellowship concerning singles is not to teach singles to cope with there singleness, but to expose attitudes, concepts, and cultural deceptions that produce strongholds in the single life and force singles into relationships not appointed by God.

The purpose of this fellowship for young married couples is parallel in the sense it exposes misconceptions and also answers a question held by many young married couples, "What do we do now?" Many get married today because that is the "vision" given us by traditional thinking. Therefore you have two beating hearts joined together in covenant without purpose for their union. Once getting past the hype of marriage, it is found all people carry their issues from singleness into marriage. Therefore, many of our marriages today consist of married singles.

Goal: To produce people, single or married, intimately in love with Christ, filled with truth and VISION (purpose & destiny) that they may confidently shake the world around them building God's Kingdom.

Vision is an outreach ministry based upon fellowship.

The fellowship is established for the single, but certainly not limited to them. It is a time for the married, the young, the old, and those who just need the fellowship time with other people. It would be a fitting statement to say that no matter where you fit you belong.

Activities:

We have simple things, such as card games, ping pong, and pool. We have bigger group activities like “Win Lose or Draw,” or a ruff version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway.”

As seasons change, we will establish out door activities. Things like volleyball, outdoor laser tag, basketball, and other creative events that provoke fun and fellowship. Nothing is forced; everything is done by choice.

Music is constantly being played. We will have videos covering praise and worship, and Christian comedy by different comedians. That should give you some idea of where we are going.

Food & Such:

There will be a basket left out for people to give for the purpose of replenishing the food supply that we have. We have chips, dips, nuts, and different sodas. The supply of these things will be according to the money given to the outreach. Monies will be tithed and records will be kept as to how much is given each meeting. Extra monies established will go towards different activities or games for the fellowship.
