The Great Commission (Mat 28:16-20 KJV) "Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. {17} And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. {18} And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. {19} Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: {20} Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Why:

To actively serve God and make a difference for eternity.
To experience another culture and gain an expanded vision for the great commission.
To learn principles of effective ministry that can be used both locally and internationally.
To see Jesus.
To learn about servant-hood.
To evaluate my own culture.
To experience true Christian Fellowship.
To have my heart broken.

What:

Work in a soup kitchen.
Visit local Children's Hospital.
Pray everyday at the center of Washington, D.C.
Minister to the Lord and the people.
We will use skits, flags, songs, and testimony to convey the gospel.

This is this next step to enforce local ministry.
